The Hotel is in an old 27-acre estate, framed by mountains. It consists of 5 double cabins with air conditioning with 2 double beds each, 2 double cabins with a fan with 2 double beds each and 2 single cabins with 1 double bed each room. Each cabin has a private bathroom, hot water, Wifi service and cable TV. All the cabins are adorned with wooden posts, tiles, a portal with a hammock and rustic wooden armchairs surrounded by ornamental plants and tropical flowers according to the time.
The property is populated with fruit trees. In the months of April, May and June, guests can enjoy the harvest of mango jade, papaya and lancetilla mangoes. There is also cultivation of orange, guavas, nances, guanabanas. cashews, avocados and morocas.
The Hotel has an open champa with the capacity to accommodate about 100 people comfortably, which serves as a dining room. There is also a separate champa with a meat grill, a wood burner, a clay oven and a work table where guests can prepare their food if they wish or make your private reunion like a hostel.
The Hotel facilities can be rented to carry out trainings, conferences, retreats, campaments, birthday celebrations and weddings. All these activities can be done during the day and at night.
Generally warm and dry. The rainy season begins in May and ends in October. The rains are intermittent and of short duration.
During the months of November and December low temperatures are observed, which makes it possible to enjoy a very pleasant climate.
There is no risk of unhealthiness, since for many years the land has been dedicated to the cultivation of corn, beans, pastures and livestock. Near the Hotel is the INFOP office for the protection of the environment.
The property has a deep well that produces up to 60 gallons of water per minute.
To the west of the Hotel Rancho Víctor, you can see the chain of mountains corresponding to Montecillos, which provide a beautiful panorama and enjoy nature and which deserve to be preserved for their richness in the variety of pines. In addition, the rural area allows you to observe a blue and starry sky.
Attractions and Culture
One of the tourist attractions of the Hotel Rancho Víctor, is the proximity to the Guajiquiro National Park, very famous because in it you can find all the varieties of pine in Honduras. Its indigenous people are well known for their Lenca crafts and visitors can see the process of making the artwork.
In the month of November, the city of La Paz celebrates its Patronal Fair, very famous for its bullfights and fireworks burning, sale of typical foods (chanfaina, stew, snack sweets and infernal punch).
Near the Hotel there are several recreation places that have champas, swimming pools and hot spring baths
In the vicinity is the House of Culture, which has an exhibition of a Pinacoteca that shows the cultural wealth of the city of La Paz.
Yarumela is a small town 5 minutes from the Hotel, which is characterized by its very colorful craftsmanship and stands out at Christmas time for its ingenious industry. It has in its Church the oldest paintings. The MIRAVALLE Archaeological Park, with its new discoveries of Lenca culture, will open to the public shortly.
The city has numerous churches, among which the Hermita or Iglesia del Perpetuo Socorro stands out, which has the best wind piano in Honduras. There are also several Evangelical Churches with diverse schedules.
Retreat place “Pedro Nolasco”, in the mountains, can host more than 100 people.
